Anomalies in the Universe. Immersion in Deep Space

SpaceSep 24, 2026 · 3 hr 5 min

There are countless unusual celestial bodies scattered around the vast expanses of the universe. A combination of various factors has turned some of them into mysterious anomalies, exceptional even by space standards. Some of these objects are amazing exoplanets, strikingly similar to Earth, while others have never seen sunlight or experienced heat. There are worlds torn by continuous sandstorms, while others are covered by a vast ocean whose bottom is made of blocks of glowing ice. At the same time, in the depths of multicoloured nebulae there are giant stars capable of swallowing whole planetary systems, and millions of light years away from them jellyfish galaxies cut through the expanses of space with their shining stellar tentacles. And today, we invite you to join us on a fantastic journey to the most incredible ones.

Ted Turner; Global Warming Will Create Cannibals

Sep 28, 2026

From the Charlie Rose Show: TED TURNER: Not doing it will be catastrophic. We'll be eight degrees hotter in ten, not ten but 30 or 40 years and basically none of the crops will grow. Most of the people will have died and the rest of us will be cannibals. Civilization will have broken down. The few people left will be living in a failed state — like Somalia or Sudan — and living conditions will be intolerable. The droughts will be so bad there'll be no more corn grown. Not doing it is suicide. Just like dropping bombs on each other, nuclear weapons is suicide. We've got to stop doing the suicidal two things, which are hanging on to our nuclear weapons and after that we've got to stabilize the population. When I was born- CHARLIE ROSE: So what's wrong with the population? TURNER: We're too many people. That's why we have global warming. We have global warming because too many people are using too much stuff. If there were less people, they'd be using less stuff.

A pulsating “teardrop-shaped” object circled the FedEx plane as it flew near Monterrey – although it never showed up on the plane’s radar. The pilots reported that at some point, a “shiny, yellow-white plasma-like object” quickly descended from the sky to the plane’s flight altitude, and then shot a beam of light towards them. The sphere flew alongside the plane for over half an hour before disappearing with a flash of pinkish-violet light.
